Aviation world in India is worst hit by corruption. From getting your CPL/ATPL, Airport entry pass, endorsement of NSOP, you name it, you have to bribe to get the job done. Our country has become a second name of corruption. we must support any movement to oppose the present rotten system, here Anna Hazare. Let us not be meek spectators. Hail this silent but potent movement.

Not able to put up a Post as my DASHBOARD does not display QUICKPRESS (or RECENT DRAFTS) which Help (option) says is required to write a new post.
Other members may be facing the same problem. Can we have an easier way of writing a post or request Administrator to advice on how a member can write a post.
I think the immediate issues we have is FDTL for Heli Pilots. Nasim Zaidi Committee had a year back had said that that Report for Heli Pilots will be coming shortly. It seems no one is interested. Fixed Wing Pilots Assn had gone to court (HC & SC). Though they lost the cases, now DGCA has come out with CAR on FDTL for Pilots (Fixed Wing) though I have not discussed it with anyone. God knows how long we have to wait for a committe report or CAR for us. Maybe Avn Min is waiting for a court case.
Another important issue will remain 6 m Notice Period and the victimisation Heli Pilots face because of that. If members contribute their experiences (like Mathews has done) we can collate info to take up case for Heli Pilots.

I agree totally that our web page is not user friendly. We are in process of revising whole thing. The two burning issues brought out by you are very relevant, but corruption is not letting them to b esolved.
We must support Anna Hazare and the anti-corruptoin movement will have a great effect on aviation industries also
